If you have a medical condition that may be of concern (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.) or require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e. antibiotics for pre-med) please alert the office.

What to Expect

Before Your Visit
It’s all about preparation! Doing a bit of preparing before your visit helps us make your experience as smooth as possible. If you’re able to, please take a moment to complete your new patient forms online before your appointment.

On the Day of Your Appointment
When you arrive, our team will greet and guide you through the new patient intake process. We'll ask you a few questions to get a better understanding of your experiences and find out what you hope to achieve with Windsor Family Dental. This conversation helps us tailor your appointment and do what we can to make you feel at ease.

Your first visit will last about 90 minutes, so please plan accordingly. You'll be escorted to the hygienist's room, where they'll review your information and start your oral assessment. Because we focus on preventative care and gum health, we’ll get started with any necessary treatment from your first visit. If no gum treatment is needed, your hygienist will help you schedule your next appointment.

We strive for continuity of care, so where possible, you can expect to see the same hygienist during your future visits!

You can please bring the following along to your consultation:

  • Any recent X-rays, if applicable. If you have a previous dentist, please instruct them to send your documents to our office at info@winfamdental.com.
  • A list of all medications you are currently taking.
  • If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance cards and/or ID numbers.

IMPORTANT: A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under 18 at the consultation visit. If a parent or guardian cannot be present, please complete this form to allow treatment for your child.

After Your Treatment

After your appointment, we’ll either set up your next appointment for treatment or provide clear, easy-to-understand instructions for any necessary aftercare if you have received treatment.

If you don't have dental insurance, we also offer complete no-insurance dental services designed to keep your teeth healthy and your wallet happy.

THIS IS NOT DENTAL INSURANCE. Cannot be combined with other insurance or discount plans. Membership plan is specific to one person and cannot be transferred. Covered services not used within the specified time period will not be carried over or transferred. Services will be provided at this location only. Membership plan will auto-renew each year on the renewal date. If a patient presents with periodontal infection, a personalized treatment plan will be presented at an additional cost. The perio plan is strictly for preventive maintenance care.
