How to Use Philips At-Home Teeth Whitening Kits

Instructions From Windsor Dental

  1. Floss and brush your teeth. Remove the clear plastic cap from the syringe and replace it with the mixing nozzle.
  2. Place a small teardrop amount of gel into each tooth compartment of each tray. For the best results, add less gel if you have smaller teeth and more gel if you have bigger teeth.
  3. Place the now-ready trays into your mouth.
  4. Keep the trays away from your gums. Upon inserting the tray, be careful not to push the gel out. Be sure the trays are completely seated.
    • You may see bubbling within your trays while wearing them, which is normal.
  5. Follow the guidelines below for the correct wear time.
  6. After you’ve met the recommended wear time, remove and rinse the trays in cold water. Remove any residual gel, using a toothbrush if needed
  7. Place the trays in the storage case and store them in a cool, climate-controlled place.
  8. Rinse and brush away excess gel from your teeth.
  9. Repeat daily for up to 2 weeks.

Results are noticeable in as little as 2 weeks, with little to no tooth sensitivity. Zoom is available in various strengths, so consult your dentist about which prescribed level could work best for you.

Product Use Warnings

Read any warnings and precautions before first use. The product contains hydrogen peroxide. Risk of serious eye injury. Remove the cap safely, contents may be under pressure. If the product contacts your eyes, rinse immediately. Avoid direct ingestion of the product. If nausea or vomiting occurs, notify your dentist or medical professional right away. The product is not to be used by persons under 18 years old. Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions

  • Avoid exposure of hypersensitive teeth to the whitening gel.
  • Avoid direct contact of the tooth whitening gel with the gums and/or salivary flow.
  • If irritation (such as redness, swelling, soreness) of the gums or the mouth occurs, discontinue use and consult a dentist.
  • Consult your dentist before using this product for more than 2 weeks.

Additional Information

  • Product effectiveness is reduced after being open for more than 1 month.
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight or heat.
  • Store at a controlled room temperature of 59°F – 77°F (15°C – 25°C).
  • Do not refrigerate or freeze.
